Death From Above is a short single-player arcade-style drone game, about 90 minutes long, set during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. You’ll play as a Ukrainian military drone operator fighting enemy forces, recovering valuable equipment, and restoring crucial lines of communication disrupted by the conflict.
But that’s not all. What sets Death From Above apart is that it is not just a game, but also a means to make an impact! 30% of the net proceeds will be divided equally between two Ukrainian organizations that support non-offensive aid to the Ukrainian armed forces: Come Back Alive and Army of Drones. This way, you can be sure that your purchase contributes to a good cause. Once we have broken even in the game, we will increase this contribution, sending 70% of our net income to these good causes. The remaining 30% will be invested in continuing to develop the game.
Key Features:
- Operator-Drone Interaction: After depleting your drone’s ammunition, you must return to your operator’s position to rearm. Risk going deeper into enemy territory for a quick and easy reload, or stay at a distance to ensure your survival!
- Clear the Ukrainian steppe of Russian invaders!: Search, bomb and destroy military headquarters camps, vehicles and depots; Stay focused and switch between top-down and third-person perspectives to maximize your impact!
- Take control of the control towers to restore communication lines!: Patrol the area, neutralize the defenses, and then bring in the operator for a successful mission!
- Recover Stolen Washing Machines-*ahem*… Precious Hardware!: Invaders are always looking for any hardware they can grab. Keep an eye out for stragglers and recover this valuable resource!
