dead wire is a top-down tactical shooter set in a high-tech dystopian city. You play as Wire, a skilled hacker navigating the dangerous streets of a crime-infested future. Use your hacking skills to manipulate the environment and outwit the heavily armed enemies trying to stop you. It’s not easy. Deadwire is designed to be challenging in a good way. The action is a mix of fast-paced shooting (often against all odds) and slower combat puzzles. Find something to hack, experiment with chain reactions, and use the environment to distract or destroy. In the high-tech, crime-ridden world of Deadwire, you can hack enemies and link them to each other and nearby objects, causing deadly chain reactions that turn the environment into a weapon. Combine rapid fire, power-ups, and a unique rewiring ability to help you defeat enemies and complete your mission. There are always many options, be sure to use the link view to check for potential hacking opportunities. Plan ahead or freestyle and restart if you get blocked. The reset feature exists for a reason. Use a deadly arsenal of weapons, including pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, Molatov grenades, smart rifles and more. Grab enemy weapons and ammo for a quick upgrade and keep an eye out for Easter eggs and hidden power-ups. Use your creativity to complete missions in different ways and beat secondary objectives and time objectives to unlock trophies. The game is designed to be replayable, and the time race and speed scoring mode, achievements and side objectives are there to reward anyone looking for an extra challenge.
