Countess in Crimson follows the story of Josh and Ashley, a young couple stranded somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains who eventually find themselves in a secluded village whose inhabitants live in the shadow of a looming castle that towers over the landscape. Inside the castle resides the titular countess along with her lustful entourage. As the story unfolds, vicious plots and plans are revealed, while your decisions ultimately determine the fate of Ashley and Josh. Gameplay-wise, Countess in Crimson is a hybrid of an interactive visual novel and adventure game with a strong emphasis on dialogue and, of course, a steamy, steamy romance.
