Bastide is a city building strategy for living in the 13th century where you must guide your peasant village to prosper and survive against other villages, bandits, hunger, disease and cold so they can become a fortified city. To survive and grow, efficiently managing your peasants is extremely important, with anything ready to wreak havoc at any moment. There are several seasons and a day and night cycle. In Bastide, there are many jobs to assign to your peasants so that they can collect food resources and expand the city. Start from scratch and turn your village into a big city. Using nearby resources, you must construct buildings and assign jobs, increasing resources and food production to enable survival and growth. Use the surrounding animals for hunting or grazing. Game animals will provide meat, wool and skin. Allow your people to get food, clothing, tools and stay warm. Multiple difficulties and the ability to disable enemies allow the player to have a relaxing or demanding experience. Future corrections and additions can be found on Bastide’s Trello page.
