About the game
Play as The Cursed Golfer, trapped in the Golf Purgatory after a mad accident incapacitates you while you’re on the verge of making it the winner of an international tournament! Legend has it that playing the devious courses of Golf Purgatory will take you back to the land of the living and, more importantly, the trophy you were hoping to win. Each course is helmed by a spooky legendary caddy who will teach you the mystical ways of golf to assist you in your quest for redemption and revival. Cursed to Golf offers a fresh look at the golf and roguelike subgenres. Make your way through a hole within the PAR meter or your curse will take you back to the start of the course! To add to the challenge, these courses not only have bunkers and rough spots, but are also packed with crazy obstacles like high-powered fans, spikes, TNT boxes, teleporters and a whole lot more. Everything is taken for granted in this twisted version of the classic game! Being cursed to play golf forever in the eternity of Golf Purgatory has its perks too! Use Birdie-Eye to survey the entire course and see what exams lie ahead. The par count is running out? Luckily, the holes are riddled with gold and silver Shot Idols, which you smash through with a cinematic swing to refill your shots. Ace cards will turn the odds in your favor and channel your otherworldly powers to manipulate the game in incredible ways. Scattershot, U-Turn, Rocketball, Mulligans are just some of the 20+ cards you have up your sleeve to turn the tide in your favor! Every shot counts!
