But a new crisis threatens peace… A mysterious man has entered the scene and leads a group of people who look identical to the world’s ancient heroes. Our new hero, Sayaka Hiwatari, faces growing chaos, where friends and enemies seem impossible to distinguish. And so the battle with another world enters a new phase. Delve into the deadly dungeons of the Strain Area, filled with randomly generated monsters, traps, and more. Think carefully about your actions, because when you move, your enemies will also take their turn. Explore every corner of a dungeon to find useful items and try to progress further and further down. Every move you make can mean certain death in the form of dozens of violent death endings. You can even unleash a brutal Double Death Ending, with gruesome art by Kei Nanameda and overseen by the diabolically twisted Makoto Kodouin. Your greatest challenge awaits you at the end of each dungeon. Get ready to test your limits as you fight a powerful boss. Once the boss is defeated, it’s time to save your friend and try to get out of the tension area alive, your new companion in tow. Between trips to the tension area, be sure to take a break at home where you can stock up on invaluable items, head to the Night Owl Café to upgrade your weapons, or visit your friends in town.
