Darker Skies arrives completely remastered for PC. Incorporating new graphical features and gameplay improvements for the definitive way to play Darker Skies on the console versions. The remastering brings new features:

But the effects persist. Take control of Jack, a War of the Worlds survivor attempting to rebuild a working Heat Ray to fight his way to freedom and ignite the spark that will rebuild civilization.

Explore the horrors of the world after the interplanetary war, encounter psychotic enemies suffering from prolonged exposure to Red Weed. Collect pieces of fallen tripods and rebuild your own Heat Ray and maybe even come face to face with the few surviving Martians.

Create weapons and items and combine them in interesting ways to eliminate creatures left after the war, sneak around, or simply shoot your way through. Up to you.

Partial Controller Support: The game can be played with a controller from start to finish. The menus will work with the exception of Advanced Graphics. A menu option to change which controller icons to display is located in the Advanced Graphics menu.
