After the fifth world war, there was peace in the world. For more than a decade, the Grand Alliance has been guiding humanity towards a better tomorrow by smothering all dangers in the bud. However, for some time now a new threat has been suspected that cannot be ignored.
As a member of the SAF forces, your mission is to take control of the Shielton base, captured by unknown rebels. Nobody knows who they are and what they want. What’s worse, even the IMC forces were unable to expel them from the base due to their advanced weaponry. Weaponry out of this world. But… are those rebels the main threat? Isn’t there something bigger behind all this? No time for questions! You must stop them at all costs!
The game mechanics are very simple: destroy all the enemies and try to avoid each bullet… well, at least those that can be avoided. Your special maneuver allows you to dodge normal projectiles. Even if you get hit, you’ll only lose an extra weapon! However, beware of powerful bosses! They can tear you to pieces with their ultimate and inevitable attacks!
Story mode can be completed in several ways. Military operations are carried out on several fronts simultaneously. It is up to you which path you will choose. From battles high in the sky, through military bases, underground factories, collapsed mines and abandoned laboratories, to secret research facilities in the Arctic and the interiors of artifacts of unknown civilizations, you must go through it all several times to complete all the missions.
Each difficulty level is different. Upgrading your skills and fighter will help you take on bosses in hard and crazy mode as they don’t appear in easier levels. Enemy designs will change, as will their firing patterns. On higher difficulties, you will also encounter enemies you haven’t met before.
Collecting parts and blueprints throughout missions will allow you to unlock and create new fighters, weapons and upgrades. However, remember that only playing on the highest difficulty levels will allow you to reach the pinnacle of technology. Discover the crafting tree and develop unique power-ups!
