You have levels to overcome. You have a body to control. The animations are not just visual like in almost every other game, but are 100% physics based, so they define how you move around the environment. Combine animations and poses to move your robot through obstacle-filled levels. The goal is to finish levels on time, earn medals and unlock new content. The controls are inspired by the controls of a real humanoid robot. You will switch between full body animations that are assigned to the buttons. Your robot’s servos try to follow these animations, but they have to deal with gravity, mass, and other static or dynamic objects. You can add and update many features of your robot. For example, you can upgrade armor, servos, batteries, and connect new components to the robot so it can do new things. Cybermotion has no plot. However, the key context is the Cybernetics University, where there are few students working together as a team, trying to finish their final assignment and earn a degree in cybernetics. They choose to build and program a robot that can move like a human in a complex dynamic environment. Their Cybernetics teacher (who is also a PE teacher) is testing their work the hard way and doesn’t give them anything for free. Except for some spare cables and scrap parts…
