CYAN BRAIN immerses players in a haunting sci-fi side-scrolling action shooter set in an unknown time and place, where a nameless girl awakens in the middle of a colossal ruin overrun by deranged machines. With no memories or blessings to guide her, she must face relentless despair and an endless cycle of violent combat, her resolve flickering like a flickering blue light amidst the chaos. The bells of the Church, a mysterious organization that once transformed it into a living weapon, echo through this shattered world, stripping away the last vestiges of flesh and mind as reality itself begins to warp. Throughout her journey through this nightmarish landscape, she encounters two souls, reflections of each other’s shadows, who challenge her to realize the ultimate devotion in a dark fable woven with existence, annihilation, terror and pleasure. CYAN BRAIN’s gameplay delivers visceral shooter action enhanced with fear-inducing executions, heavy mountable weapons, and full-screen animated cutscenes that immerse players in its brutal universe. Combat intensifies with realistic blood splatter effects and progressive outfit damage as the protagonist takes hits, while unique execution animations and collectible Death Cards reward players upon defeat. The game features 16 weapons, 32 enemies and traps, 34 H executions and animations, 36 Death Cards and 3 full-screen HCGs, all accessible in an in-game gallery. Players can increase hydration by consuming food, automatically generating healing items when fully hydrated, and must strategically manage ammo, switching to melee combat when necessary.
