In Cube Chaos you place cubes, each of which has its own abilities and behaviors. In practice, it plays like a unique rogue-lite mix of rts, autobattler and towerdefense. Summon a rat above each non-rat ally, use catapults to catapult those rats past enemy defenses, meanwhile, defend yourself with self-healing shield walls and summon clouds of lightning that teleport above enemies and attack them. Just to test a strategy. Sure, Triple Shot makes your weapons fire 3 bullets sometimes, but it also makes your anthills produce more ants, your replicant crabs can triple in number, and your dead enemies can become 3 zombies. The advantages of this game are intended to allow for strange and unusual strategies outside of what I, the developer, directly intended. Do you want to buy something in the store but haven’t gotten enough gold? Just go into debt! Want to rack up an 8x buff in exchange for some of the most horrible curses my mind could come up with? Cube Chaos encourages you to take calculated risks and reap the rewards of living on the brink of defeat, rewarding you with memorable victories, showing defeats, and if you’re really lucky, with something so completely broken, I’ll have to consider tweaking it in the next balance patch.
