Craft The World is a unique sandbox strategy game, a combination of Dungeon Keeper, Terraria and Dwarf Fortress. Explore a randomly generated world populated by dangerous creatures, build a dwarven fortress, gather resources and craft all the items, weapons and armor you need. You control a tribe of dwarves by giving them orders to dig in certain locations, attack enemy creatures, and build houses and other structures. You must provide food and clothing for your dwarves, as well as help them with magic when they fight other inhabitants of the world. You start the game with one dwarf and gain additional dwarves as your experience level increases. Each level of the game has many layers of land to explore, from the sky to the boiling underground lava. The level is randomly generated like an island, constrained by natural boundaries: oceans at the edges, lava below, and the sky above. Other features include day and night and changing weather conditions. The worlds differ in size, humidity, temperature, terrain, flora and fauna. Somewhere deep in the islands hide abandoned corridors and rooms with treasures. A feature of the game is an easy-to-use crafting recipe system. Recipes are organized and easy to access. You can create dozens of different items: building blocks for houses, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition and food for your dwarves. At the beginning, you will find recipes for tools and basic items and build a small house with places to sleep and eat. Then the size of the tribe increases and attracts the attention of other inhabitants of the world. Most of them are nocturnal creatures and live underground. The worlds are filled with fantastic creatures such as zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders and others. Some of them pay little attention to the dwarves, as long as the dwarves do not enter their field of vision. Others gather in fairly large groups and attempt to break into the dwarves’ residence. As a divine being, you possess several spells. You can speed up the movement of dwarves, open small portals, illuminate dark caves to scare away monsters, conjure natural magic in the form of rain or tree growth, throw fireballs at the heads of monsters, and find useful resources and rooms hidden underground, thus helping to speed up resource extraction, world exploration, and population growth of your assistants.
