Coreless is a single-player third-person action roguelike that brings a new spin to meta-progression through its flexible talent and power systems. Choose from a wide variety of avatars, upgrade them with talent points, and equip them with distinctive accessories. Each adventure promises unique challenges and experiences.
- Highly customizable avatars: Shape your playstyle using a rich combination of talents, add-ons, and powers throughout the session. Whether you imagine a spellcaster attacking from afar, a melee warrior dealing stuns and damage over time, or an assassin summoning minions to create distractions, the choice is entirely yours. Unlock new avatars, powers and add-ons to forge a truly distinctive build!
- Ticks-based add-on system: As you progress, surviving more difficult encounters grants you Ticks, your performance currency. These Ticks unlock add-ons and set milestones that improve those add-ons. Addons are essential to your build: Passive addons can grant power-ups at the start of the session, plague enemies periodically, or provide additional shields or lives. Event-based add-ons activate based on which connector they’re on: some let you double-dash to collect nearby buffs, others activate effects during Overdrive abilities. The more Ticks you collect in a session, the better your chances of getting powerful drops. Bottom line: the longer you survive, the better the rewards will be.
- Diverse and Challenging Encounters – Each run is packed with upgrade options, diverse enemies, and hidden unlockables. Optimize your growth during each encounter before the heat meter reaches 100%, triggering a boss battle. Defeating these unique enemies will reward you with gear to fuel future runs. Unlock new difficulty levels, environments, and enemy types to increase the challenge and reward.
- Continuous Progression: Even in defeat, progress continues. Get permanent upgrades like talent points, add-ons, and resources. Each step forward opens new strategic possibilities for future attempts.
