You are completely free to choose how to play and what to do, but be careful: the world actively adapts and changes based on your actions. It’s up to you to work with or against the world. Each NPC has specific traits, wants, needs, and routines that make them unique. Each of them has a role and relationships within society: helping, killing, stealing or even simply interfering in their routine can have desired or unexpected consequences. By completing their requests you will receive rewards, improving your relationship with them, but with the possibility of harming others. Be a model citizen and acquire resources through honest work, or commit crimes and risk being reported to the authorities. If you do not pay for your crimes, you will be banished from the faction and lose all privileges and benefits, such as access to specific shops, structures, and crafts.
