You are a sleeper, a human consciousness digitized into an artificial body, owned by a corporation that wants to get you back. Thrust among the unknown and colorful inhabitants of the Eye, you must build friendships, earn a living, and navigate the factions of this strange metropolis if you hope to survive to see the next cycle. An abandoned station on the edge of a system in crisis. Ramshackle, chaotic, rebellious and alive: it was founded by idealists in the shadow of a corporate collapse. Now it is held together by anarchic alliances, rickety factions, and a shared desire to break free from the gravity of corporate control. In each cycle you get up and choose what to do with your time. Work hard in the yard or take a shift at the bar. Search the markets for rare components or buy some street food. Make or break alliances, discover truths and escape from those who persecute you. Learn to survive and ultimately thrive, one cycle at a time. Follow impulses, not quests, allowing you to choose the stories and activities that interest you. As you do, you’ll shape your character’s five skills (Engineer, Interface, Stamina, Intuition, and Participation), unlocking perks and bonuses that reflect and change the way you choose to live in this world.
