Build your settlement. Gather and refine resources from forests and quarries, raise animals, grow vegetables, fish and make wine, so you can keep your population healthy and fed. Improve your buildings and ensure the water supply with aqueducts. Welcome citizens to your village as craftsmen, farmers, carpenters… or train them to join your legions in different units. Towers and walls will protect your village from barbarian attacks, while it becomes a magnificent city.
Expand. Explore the world map, liberate besieged villages and experience the power of the most advanced armies of the time – the legion, engaging in tactical auto-battle combat. Once the territory is secured, you can establish trade routes, import exotic resources, and expand your economy. Send your explorers to search for a collection of mythological objects that will help you in your expansion and complete missions for the Senate.
Honor. Ascend to the pantheon and earn the favor of the gods. Build temples, make offerings to be granted gifts. But be careful, because the gods behave capriciously and mercilessly; Worship one of them and you may suffer the wrath of another. The interaction with the deities allows for a non-linear, replayable narrative, full of mythical encounters. Prepare to be surprised when they come to earth and help you, or tremble in fear if they punish your people.
City building, evolved. Citadelum features unique three-level gameplay, based on the core mechanics of city building, strategic expansion and trade, and the role of gods. You will find different missions, artifacts and challenges in each game.
