Cheese Runner is a retro cyberpunk crime trading game with ASCII art.
Play as Cheese Runner, an underground illicit cheese trader. Try to survive the harsh dystopia of a world gone mad. After a mysterious virus wipes out most of the land’s livestock, humanity is crushed under the boot of corporate control. The corporations supplying synthetic foods now control the very ability of most of humanity to live. Against this oppressive corporate control and violent police state, a small segment of the population fights. Since food laboratories cannot synthesize casein, a central component of milk essential for making cheese, this beloved food has been banned under the pretext of public safety. The brave Underground ranchers raise cowntraband to produce this precious substance, but it’s up to the Cheese Runners to distribute it.
He has taken out a loan to start the smuggling business. You have 30 days to fulfill the charge or it will be the grinder for you. Can you evade the killer robots and cowntraband trackers? Do you have the gonads to try gorgonzola? It’s time to get rich (and tasty) or die trying.
