With this long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed and lavishly praised Deponia, the player enters the second round. Chaos in Deponia turns out to be even crazier than its predecessor and instantly puts the player under its spell. After the events in Deponia, it seems that Rufus came to his senses. He has become cautious, friendly, kind and affectionate, with no intention of causing great chaos just to further his own selfish ends. It seems he’s a far cry from chaining himself to burning saw blades, training torpedo dolphins, or foraging in platypus nests. Or is it him? Ultimately, it’s a flaming saw blade that lands Goal back in Deponia. By accident, his consciousness is divided into three parts and stored on three different disks. Now it’s up to Rufus to once again convince all three parts of Goal, using his remarkable and charming wit, to become one again, venture to Elysium with her, and save Deponia from certain doom while doing so. The second adventure in Deponia tells a unique and independent story that can be played without needing to know the first installment. Fans of the first game discover new aspects of familiar characters’ backgrounds and see answers to open questions.
