This game is not for you if you want to save the world and become the hero everyone needs (or even deserves). Go ahead, here we have a badass anti-hero, ready to compete for the title of Baddest Bastard of All Time. His testosterone level can only be measured on the Fury scale, his death toll is unknown, and the number of bullets he fired is uncountable. He’s a hired gun. His former clients had put him in prison instead of paying him for a job well done. He’s angry, he’s skilled, he has bad weapons and an even badder mustache. It’s nothing personal. It’s just business.
Chains of Fury Volume I is a unique Boomer Shooter. Inspired by the Hellboy and Lobo comics along with the XIII and Void Bastards games, it aims to provide players with a unique gaming experience.
Heavily influenced by retro FPS games, it brings character design inspiration from Duke Nukem 3D, movement cues from Quake and DOOM, and unique comic-style graphics based on ’90s hits like Lobo. Almost three decades later, the spirit of 1996 is somehow still with us and we are not going to let it go. You shouldn’t do it either.
