Chacara is a horror game with thriller and slasher features, retro aesthetics and graphics for PS1/PSX, inspired by games from developers like Puppet Combo, the game takes place in the early 90s, in the north of Brazil. Under the influence of a few beers, our young protagonist sets out on the road, from the city, to his parents’ house, in a small town in the Brazilian Amazon jungle. However, the pressure made him forget to make sure he had enough gas… Thank God he ran out of gas near a “Chacara” (a traditional Brazilian country house), and decides to go inside to ask for help. However, the Chacara is much more mysterious than it seems at first glance, it does not take long to find evidence about the fate of the family that lived there, worse still, our young protagonist begins to be stalked by what appears to be the owner of the Chacara, a mentally ill military veteran, who, apparently, is a war criminal from the former Brazilian Military Dictatorship. Finally, your goal is to get out of the Chacara alive.
