- Upgrade your gear: Start with the basics, catch what bites, sell your haul, and use those coins for better rods, reels, and upgrades. Before you know it, you’ll be fighting rare species that would make any angler green with envy.
- Explore new waters – find your favorite fishing spot or keep wandering. There are 13 peaceful spots to discover, each with its own critters swimming around, waiting to bite.
- Choose your pace: In active mode, you’re in the middle of it all: pitching, reeling, and staying busy like a loon at nesting time. Switch to passive mode if you prefer to let the game do the work while you’re chopping wood. Install it on a second monitor or place it in a corner; Come back later and see what kind of loot the fish gods left you.
- Collect them all – there are 50 fish to discover – some you’ll recognize, others you’ll squint at and say “what the hell is that?” From small sunfish to large deep-sea beasts, they are all in the journal waiting for your name.
- Legendary Catches: There are 13 fish that still have people chattering in old Rusty’s bait shop like they’ve seen Bigfoot ride a moose. Get one and you will be part of the legend.
- Boat Buddies: A day on the water is better with company. Take a trusted companion with you. They may not know a spinnerbait from a spoon, but they will help you spot a fish, if only because they are expecting a bite themselves.
