Playing as a crime and investigation student, you are writing a thesis for your studies on the famous mansion that houses the gruesome murders that occurred in the 1950s. Originally, the mansion belonged to a rather friendly grandmother, whose husband died, and people began to see it less and less. They began to hear noises and see strange red lights coming from him. Every time someone went to check, Grandma was nowhere to be seen and the mansion was empty. Eventually, a new family moved there, only to be the victims of a gruesome murder where the young daughter, Cassidy, was believed to have witnessed it all. Over the course of a 3-chapter series, you’ll scour the mansion, the basement, and the local area surrounding the mansion to gather information and escape the clutches of anyone pursuing you. You can communicate with features like a timed night vision camera or hidden messages shown by your flashlight. Each chapter is unique. The first chapter focused on psychological horror, created to create atmosphere and tension. The second chapter will test your stealth. Sneak away from enemies and don’t get caught. The third chapter is a mix of the other two chapters and requires everything you have learned to get through it. An ever-changing mansion, it was once a hotel in the early 20th century, until an elderly woman known only as her grandmother bought the hotel and converted it into a home. The hotel’s long corridors still exist and its empty rooms collect dust. The mansion will be the starting place for you, as a player. You will walk through the hallways, collect information for your thesis, take photographs, and finally… try to escape. The mansion changes as you progress, the rooms will not always be the same, so be sure to check everywhere.
