Cartridge Defense is a tower defense game with collectible cards that you will use to create your own decks to defend yourself against robots in the cyberpunk-inspired future. Play cards (cartridges) to generate towers, upgrades, special abilities and more. Place towers to reroute enemy robots, set tower priorities with a set of highly customizable targeting systems, and watch your tower maze destroy waves of enemies. Each enemy has a chance to drop loot in the form of cards, packs, targeting systems, items, or resources that you can use to customize your deck. There are currently 9 types of towers, each of which can be upgraded to level 5, and over 300 different cards, ensuring enormous variety and replayability. Unlock cards, targeting systems and playable items by progressing through the story against specific spawn lists or by farming completed levels with randomly generated spawns in ‘Sponsored Mode’ for additional loot. There are currently 33 levels in 5 zones for an expected duration of 30 to 40 hours of play. Additionally, the game includes an endless mode and a rogue mode for greater replayability!
