Humanity has discovered a very rare crystal capable of providing enormous amounts of energy. With many advancements in technology, daily life was surrounded by robots and useful inventions. One day, unfortunately, all that technology became aware of itself and decided that humanity was not well prepared for Earth. Some people escaped to an artificial planet, where they live their lives dreaming of one day returning to Earth.
You have been born on that artificial planet and you have trained from your earliest days until now to overcome any problem you may face. You are a soldier of the New Day. A special force was assembled to take back the Earth.
Now is the time to put all that training to the test. Your grandmaster demands your help to enter an underground fortress and steal one of those power crystals. That will leave the fortress in a vulnerable state, making way for more reinforcements to establish a base of operations on Earth.
Carestia is a mix of intriguing puzzles and precise action battles in a 2D side-scrolling platformer. You’ll go from moments of thought to solve and overcome puzzles to moments of quick reactions to defeat a boss.
The puzzles use a power mechanism that will make you use the correct elements to connect everything so you can continue.
