Born to a French father and a Japanese mother, a shy boy, Damien, moves to Japan so the whole family can live with his Japanese grandmother. However, everything Damien sees and touches in his new Japanese home is filled with worrying elements, such as his dog becoming aggressive from the stress of moving homes, unfamiliar Japanese dishes being served during meals, and encountering unfamiliar insects during bath time.
