Walk the forbidden path, no matter where it takes you. “Atelier Yumia” is a story about Yumia and her companions confronting memories and, despite their uncertainties, moving forward on the path they believe in.
- Collect, fight, create. Experience everything on your trip with friends. Freely roam the vast open countryside in all directions. The continent is an unexplored land where the player can use a wide range of items and actions to forge their path forward.
- Ranks and elements allow for a captivating variety of combat actions. Your ability to make split-second decisions during real-time combat will be tested. Fight strategically using two types of attack ranges that change your abilities as you switch between them. Additionally, synthesized items will be transformed into weapons such as swords and spears, which can be used to attack. Items can be reused as many times as you like, so don’t hesitate to deploy them while fending off enemies that get in your way.
- Weave mana to create items. Manipulate the mana contained in ingredients to create new items based on recipes. The items you create will exhibit powerful effects in various situations, such as exploration and combat. The strength of an item’s power depends on the ingredients used during synthesis, so select ingredients carefully while evaluating the mana power they contain.
- Create items while you’re in the field and customize the bases however you want! You can use Simple Synthesis to create exploration tools to open the way forward, as well as items that will benefit you during combat and synthesis. You can also use the Build function to build bases and then decorate them with furniture as you like.
The Aladissian Empire once prospered on a certain continent, having achieved notable development through alchemy that kept other nations at bay. However, it came to an end due to a sudden and mysterious cataclysm. Time moved on and, several centuries later, alchemy became known as a dangerous art that brings destruction and was considered “evil” and “taboo.” Now, a lone alchemist takes her first step into this dangerous and unexplored land. Her name is Yumia Liessfeldt, and after losing her mother in an accident three years ago, she learned that she descends from a line of alchemists, which left her with many questions.
Why was Aladiss destroyed? Why did alchemy become taboo? Is alchemy really evil?
Believing that all the truths she seeks are found on the fallen continent, Yumia embarks on a journey to discover her lost history.
