In the mid-20th century, when the world was on the brink of new discoveries and changes, the Soviet Union faced an unprecedented challenge. A tectonic apocalypse that occurred between the 1960s and 1970s caused catastrophic changes. The earth opened, unleashing an unstoppable force from its depths, destroying family societies and causing widespread devastation.
The new biomes created as a result of these upheavals became home to aggressive predators that quickly adapted to the harsh conditions of the new world. They settled in the fissures and moors, turning them into their hunting grounds.
However, even in the face of total destruction, the human spirit and drive for survival remained unwavering. In tectonically stable areas, autonomous underground bunkers were built, fortresses of hope and last refuge for those who managed to survive. Within its protected walls, some citizens and a bit of industry found refuge, allowing the spark of human civilization to continue burning.
