The long conflict between Exodus and Magna, which began in 2065, finally ended with the dissolution of Exodus and the abandonment of Almakarta by the nations of the world. In 2140, World War III broke out amid a global food crisis driven by overpopulation and climate change, devastating many countries and reducing the world’s population from billions to just hundreds of millions. The survivors later gathered to form Neo-Eden, a sprawling megalopolis where a new military company called Exodus was established. This group sought to forge the future of humanity by fusing humans with machines, creating cybernetic beings known as Roids. Initially controversial, Roiding quickly gained acceptance due to its overwhelming benefits, and soon, Roids outnumbered traditional humans. Now, in the year 2200, social inequality once again threatens to push humanity to the brink. Set in the cyberpunk city of Neo-Eden, Apostle: Rebellion offers an epic narrative full of intrigue, mystery, action and romance. Combat takes a classic turn-based RPG style with a unique twist: each successful hit increases your chain meter, increasing damage output and encouraging strategic mastery of the heat and chain mechanics. Players face a variety of interdimensional monsters while upgrading their characters to overcome increasing challenges. Outside of combat, you can deepen relationships with a diverse cast of teammates and participate in various side activities.
