Aokana – Four Rhythms Across the Blue is a romantic visual novel set in a near-future world where anti-gravity shoes allow people to fly freely through the sky, giving rise to a competitive aerial sport known as Flying Circus. You play as Masaya Hinata, a former prodigy who quit the sport after a crushing defeat, only to return when an energetic transfer student rekindles his passion for flying. As Masaya helps rebuild the school’s Flying Circus club, the story focuses on character development, rivalry, personal growth, and romance, with multiple branching routes and endings based on the player’s choices. The gameplay is primarily story-driven, with rich dialogue, anime-style visuals, and emotional sports drama, and each heroine offers a unique perspective on competition, confidence, and overcoming personal limits.
