You begin your journey on the roads outside the city of Alluris. Your goal is to travel the world, level up, and collect items, followers, and skills until you can defeat Baron Dread and save Alluris. The game is played by simply dragging the cards left or right. However, the decisions you must make can sometimes be anything but simple. Your options for dealing with a situation depend on your backstory, race, gender, or a previous decision you made during the race. As you explore the world, you’re sure to stumble upon something interesting. If you’re smart, you can achieve something great and gain a new career or experience to get started in your next career. These mutators can radically change the way the game plays out. They might make you terrible in combat, but they constantly shower you with gold. Maybe you start with access to places that would take full tours to reach.
