Advance through the technology tree to unlock better buildings and stronger units, improving your civilization. Each technological advance opens new possibilities, reflecting the evolution and growth of your Civilization throughout History. The choice of first and second line units is vital. Front-line units must be resilient and capable of direct combat, while second-line units must provide support, ranged attacks, or specialized functions. Each day, frontline units from both armies engage in combat with the enemy frontline, as long as they are within attack range. At the same time, second line units also participate by attacking enemy first line units if they are within range. The workforce represents the set of individuals eligible for military service within a Civilization. It is a fundamental resource used to recruit new troops and reinforce existing armies, embodying Civilization’s ability to wage war and defend itself.
Since manpower is replenished over time, players must plan their military campaigns taking into account their current and future manpower availability.
