Taking place in the vibrant city of Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, Afterlove EP is a combination of visual novel, narrative adventure and rhythm game elements from the creator of Coffee Talk and What Comes After. Put yourself in the shoes of Rama, a young musician struggling to move on with his life after the death of his girlfriend, Cinta. While his close friends and bandmates are determined to help him move forward, Rama has been stuck for over a year. You are neglecting your music, your mental health, and your relationships. To complicate matters, he hears Cinta’s voice inside his head, unsure if she is a spirit or part of his imagination.
Rama’s band has a critical concert in a month. Either he takes his music seriously and delivers the new songs he has promised or the band will move on without him. For twenty-eight days and nights, your choices will determine the path Rama will take. Explore the city, choose which relationships to repair and which new ones to pursue. Embrace the past, rediscover your creative voice, and help Rama build a future.

As part of Indonesia’s burgeoning independent game development scene, Afterlove EP seeks to create an authentic window into modern urban life in Indonesia.
Set on the streets of Jakarta, where several of the developers live or have lived, the game also features distinctive manga-inspired art by renowned Indonesian artist Soyatu and an original soundtrack by Indonesian indie band L’Alphalpha.
