Adore is an action monster taming roguelite where the main character, Lukha, is able to summon and control creatures to fight at his side in a simple and innovative way. In Adore, you can customize your play style depending on the creatures you capture. Each of them has very different characteristics and abilities. From more fragile creatures, however, with great damage; creatures that are slow and durable or with greater control capabilities such as stunning and freezing. On top of that, there’s the Synergy system, which allows for even more varied play styles and powerful combos. Your creature can gain synergies with other creature types. This means that it will activate a bonus or even change an ability when you have control of that required type. You have to be very careful when summoning creatures. Since Lukha has a strong bond with them, if they die, your character will take some damage. They are as valuable as your life. Each creature also has a special ability that can be used when its energy bar is full. You have to decide when is the best time to use the special ability, saving it for a situation where it is most effective. Every race is a new experience. The map, all creatures, items and affinities are generated randomly. Encouraging the player to always adapt, explore, try new compositions and different combos. Every time you break an enemy’s defense, you can time attacks with different creatures to keep the enemy stunned. Draknar, the god of creatures, is losing his power. A curse is spreading and taking control of all its creatures. Your last option is Lukha, an apprentice from one of the remaining Adorers villages. Lukha, during his journey, discovers not only many secrets of the immense and mysterious world of Gaterdrik, but also a conspiracy to kill Draknar.
