Abermore is a first-person stealth role-playing game that casts players as “The Hanged Man,” a legendary Robin Hood-like figure preparing for a daring heist during an 18-day campaign. Players must navigate a web of challenging demands and choose their collaborators wisely to form a diverse team, each member offering different advantages that can pave the way to the ultimate score known as “The Party of the Lucky Few.” The game’s dynamic world encourages exploration and strategic planning, and each heist and interaction shapes the story that unfolds in unpredictable ways. To aid in these shenanigans, “The Unchained Man” wields supernatural powers granted by tarot cards, providing 14 unique abilities that enhance stealth, movement and defense. Players can trade stolen goods on the Black Market, acquiring new unconventional weapons and tools to customize their approach. As the days progress, preparation is key, but adaptability is equally important: improvising with Abermore’s eccentric inventory, whether it’s a banana, a rubber duck, or a time bomb, can turn the tide when plans go awry. Combining stealth, strategy and supernatural elements, Abermore offers a rich, immersive experience where every decision matters in the pursuit of fortune and legend.
