20XX is a roguelike action platformer that you can play with a friend. Jump and shoot your way through ever-changing levels, gather amazing new power-ups, and fight powerful bosses in the name of saving the human race, maybe!

20XX also features full cooperative mode. Play with a friend on the couch or online!

20XX supports 1 or 2 players locally or online through Steam.

Characteristics:

Roguelike elements:

  • Random Levels – Every time you play 20XX, the stages you play through will be completely new!
  • Permadeath: Every game of 20XX is a self-contained life! Death sends you back to headquarters, where you can purchase powerful upgrades for future executions. (There’s also a Reverent mode where you get three lives to complete the game instead of one.)
  • Persistent Upgrades: As you play 20XX, you’ll earn Soul Chips, which unlock powerful permanent upgrades and expand the pool of items you can find as you play.

  • Memory: 1024MB RAM
  • Graphics: Any card made during or after 2009
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 1 GB of available space
  • Additional notes: Laptop users: Some laptops will default to running 20XX with their integrated GPU (instead of their good GPU). We strongly recommend that you run 20XX on your dedicated GPU.

How to install 20xx (v1.40.3 & ALL DLC’s)

  • Click the download button below or in the top of the page
  • You’ll be redirected to the specific game installer download page.
  • Download the game installer, this allows you to download the game from the nearest possible server. We use it to improve download speeds, ensuring stable and smooth experience
  • Disable Windows Defender and any installed Anti-Virus software before installation, most will flag the file as false-true due to the nature of the installer
  • Follow the game installer instructions, wait for the download to finish
