About the game
What is Alvin’s past? What mysteries will you discover as you traverse The Mansion? The mansion, a somber but intriguing building that you face, does not exist. It may have existed once, but when? And was it just like that? Perhaps it simply resembles what already exists, or was it just pieced together from scraps of memory, both real and from books, films, or old postcards? Though the construction before us looks sturdy, it appears to have been created from the nightmarish memories of a tormented boy. And it’s at the center of his nightmare. On a rainy day, cold as old bones that no comforter can warm, there was a gentle knock at the door of your small-town doctor’s office. It was a stranger, a thin boy with a face prematurely aged from suffering, knocking with the last of his strength. He fell motionless in front of you and mumbled something unintelligible. They carried him to the couch, covered him with a blanket and bent down to examine him. Then you looked into his eyes, which were like bottomless wells, and felt like falling straight into his dream. Now you stand in front of The Mansion, knowing that you won’t leave until you face this boy’s fears and painful memories. And the monsters from his dreams seem eerily real to you – they are absolutely capable of dealing real damage to you. Welcome to our nightmare!
