About the game
Miko no Kanata is an entirely traditional Japanese-style romantic adventure game that represents a culmination of everything developer Fan-na has produced since its launch in 2004. Cycles is the first part of this series and focuses on the first time the protagonist and heroine meet and the romance that unfolds between them. On his first day at school, the protagonist Kiryu Yuuya meets Mikanagi Akiha, a girl with a mysterious aura, in the classroom. Akiha was the spitting image of a Miko who repeatedly appears in Yuuya’s dreams and kills him. However, Yuuya felt a strong sense of fate when they met. “It feels like we’re finally meeting… Yuuya-san.” Akiha said those words, filled with a strong fascination for Yuuya. They soon became attracted to each other… However, Akiha’s older sister, the Miko, Koharu let Yuuya in on a startling revelation. “Akiha-chan… is not someone of that time.” A young woman’s love penetrating the expanse of a thousand years. The tragic fate inflicted on these struggling shrine girls. And the followers of darkness trying to rampage through the world of night… Will Yuuya and Akiha be alone with those strong feelings together?!
